Brittany Eberl is a Research Technician who joined the Anastas lab in July 2022 after graduating from the University of South Carolina, Honors College. She makes multi-tasking look easy. On a typical day, you might find Brittany juggling multiple experiments like drug treatment studies in pre-clinical glioma models, or sectioning and staining mouse brains to detect histone marks and phospho-proteins.
Her current research focus is on developing treatment strategies for pediatric brain tumors using antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications to enhance glioma cell sensitivity to kinase-targeting drugs.
