motto: “Nothing will work unless you do.”-Maya Angelou
Jack Tremblay joined the Anastas lab as a graduate student in spring 2023. He completed his Bachelor’s of Science at the University of New Hampshire where he majored in Genetics. In between undergrad and grad school he worked in the cell therapy start up space where he honed his skills in cell engineering and characterization.
After contributing to a project that filed for IND and first in-human trials, Jack returned to the academic space with a passion for targeting brain cancer through immunotherapy. He is co-mentored by Dr. Jamie Anastas and Dr. Maksim Mamonkin.
Jack is currently working to generate T cells to target proteins expressed on dividing cells to use in combination with epigenome-targeting drugs for therapeutic intervention in diffuse midline glioma.
